Edgebrook Farmers Market on Saturday will be our biggest one yet--10 vendors! Come join us between 9am and 1pm in the parking lot of Edgebrook school. Twin Gardens will have Mirai sweet corn at the Farmers Market on Saturday, July 29!

Drum roll, please! Twin Gardens will have the long-awaited Mirai (ME-rye) sweet corn at the Edgebrook Farmers Market this Saturday. This delicious corn was developed in Harvard, Illinois in the early 1990s. Initially introduced in Japan, the Japanese named the corn "Mirai", which means both "the future is coming" and "taste" and was marketed as a fruit because it's so sweet. Farmers in the US are now growing this wonderful corn. At Twin Gardens in Harvard, Mirai is picked by hand because the tender kernals would be smashed by machinery. While handpicking takes longer, it allows Twin Gardens to provide us with very high-quality produce. And it's not genetically modified, either. Ta

Sausage Konig makes its debut at the Edgebrook Farmers Market this Saturday! It's a Chicago company that makes sausages from fresh pork seasoned with lots of herbs, spices and some salt. You won't find these handmade, flavorful sausages in stores, but you can get them at the farmers market on July 29. The farmers market will be held between 9am and 1pm in the parking lot of Edgebrook school...rain or shine!

Chicago Bone Broth joins Edgebrook Farmers Market this Saturday!

We have a new vendor joining the Edgebrook Farmers Market on July 29....Chicago Bone Broth. To make their delicious broth, they use bones supplied by farmers that raise healthy animals in open pastures using sustainable practices. The result? Broth full of nutrients and void of chemicals and toxins. It is, truly, all about dem bones! The farmers market will be held between 9am and 1pm in the parking lot of Edgebrook school...rain or shine!

Mion Artisan Soaps returns to the Farmers Market on July 22!

Looking forward to seeing you at the Farmers Market Saturday 9am-1pm at Edgebrook School (Hiawatha and Central). Fruit, veggies, cheese, fancy soaps, baked goods, coffee, tamales, crepes, olive oil, pickles and more. We will be there, rain or shine!
